More of Life at Lost River
We were really home bodies during our trip to Lost River. When you've got acres of woods atop a mountain, a deck that spans the entirety of the house, and a Dutchtub (which I wrote about years ago on Apartment Therapy), PLUS a two-level modernist home, why would you go anywhere?
C and I cooked and flitzed around the house listening to music and reading, while the boys spent hours running around the property and playing on the bunkbeds. Oh, and I didn't forget Easter. The first thing to arrive from the Easter Bunny were 2 packets of "magic jellybeans." E.B. left them at the front door the next morning with instructions to plant them.
We had gorgeous weather the entire trip, and the light. Oh, the light.
