Life Lesson No. 1
We decided to skip swimming Sunday and spend the morning at home, a rarity. DD painted while BB looked at books and played with toys. I went to put on a pot of coffee and came back to this. We should have gone swimming.
I'm joking, of course. I both love and abhor a messy house. Seeing pots of paint, books, and toy scattered all around makes me anxious yet happy. What's a home for but to live in and be comfortable? As a person who blogs about home and design, I can say with certainty that it's never a waste of money to invest in your home. Whether it be upgrades, renovations, furnishings, or accessories, buying good quality items for your home is always worth the money.
Life Lesson No. 1: Never be afraid to invest in your home.
