Hello February

January passed me by.  2012 is proving to be a sprinter.  February is here and we've had almost no snow to speak of.  On the other hand it hit 70.  Trade-off.

You've noticed my absence for the last few days.  Work has overrun me, but I'm looking forward to a great weekend - time with my boys outdoors, date night with C, and some shopping and errands thrown in.  If I can muster the energy, there may even be a little baking and clothes purging thrown in as well.

I was chatting with a friend Thursday evening at a cocktail party.  We haven't seen each other in a while, but I learned that she had moved to the suburbs (from a neighborhood pretty close to ours).  And another one bites the dust.
