After nap, DD and I went to a local playground and then walked to Whole Foods for some dinner provisions. We bought almonds, lemonade, lox, bread, minestrone soup, and almond butter, and we were just about ready to get in line when he spotted this box of Halloween colored jellybeans. Neither of us could resist so here we are sitting out front eating jellybeans and soup and playing with a friendly dog. DD normally would have been on the floor hugging this dog but I told him that if he did, the dog would eat all of his jellybeans. So he stayed put. When he had his fill, he jumped down and hugged that dog and pulled his ears and touched his whiskers and laughed at his black eyes. Then we had to go home to
finish dinner
watch some tv
take a hot bath
have a ticklefest (his request)
read books
and lights out.
How I love this boy.
