Popsicle Art

The weekend was fantastic.  The weather was crisp and Fall-like.  In fact, the nights were quite chilly and we had to turn on the heater.  But during one of our many outings this weekend, we stumbled upon the works of Cory Oberndorfer at BlackRock Center for the Arts.  Called Pop: Everlasting, the works are focused on popsicles and how Oberndorfer imagined iconic pop artists would interpret the subject matter.  I loved the exhibition and so did the boys.  They were especially intrigued by the popsicle stick tinged with red popsicle juice.  Looks like we made it just in time, as the exhibition was to end on October 3rd.
