BB lost his first baby tooth on Friday. It's a huge milestone losing your first tooth. And it happened to him at school, in the middle of lunch. In fact, he swallowed his tooth. He fretted that he would have nothing to show the tooth fairy. So we (actually, C) assured him that this happens quite often and that the tooth fairy would understand. A picture of the gap in his mouth and a little note to the tooth fairy, we said, would do the trick. And here is his note. Short and to the point. We made up a note from the tooth fairy along with a gold dollar to leave under his bed.
From the looks of it, he's going to lose a second one sometime soon. I've made a mental note to get to the bank for more gold coins. And fairy dust.
