The weekend was a milestone of sorts for me. I had the entire weekend to myself while C and the boys were out of town. On Saturday, I made plans to have brunch with a friend. Oh, how lovely to eat leisurely at an outdoor cafe and sip hot coffee. On a whim, we decided to visit The Phillips Collection (and took advantage of free admission because it was Museum Day). We saw some fantastic pieces and visited the museum shop. There was a lot of girl talk while we took a walk through my neighborhood for gelato and furniture shopping.
It really was a great way to spend a beautiful day and we've vowed to get together more regularly.
