I wanted to enjoy some time on the Soundside. While taking a stroll on the boardwalk, we found a boat launch area that was perfect for the boys to get up close and personal to the water. DD splashed about getting closer and deeper into the water. I think you can get the full story from the photos - when the kicking started, the shoe flew off too far for us to reach. After we all laughed about it, DD hobbled his way to the shoe store (there was one right on the boardwalk) to pick out some new shoes. Orange, his favorite color, is what he settled on.
