July 4th

Our annual family ritual - fireworks on the roofdeck.  It's a tradition everyone, especially BB, looks forward to.  We're usually treated to a panoramic fireworks display courtesy of all the towns that have their own show in addition to the big show on the National Mall.  This year, however, a few of the towns had to cancel their fireworks show due to the continued power outage.

Headed into this July 4th holiday, I complained because it was in the middle of the week.  But as it turns out, it was nice to have this respite during the week to break things up.  There's only 2 more days until the weekend, a busy one for us.  Lessons, date night, and playdates with lots of friends.  Not to make you anxious but did you know there's only 9 more weekends before summer is over and school starts?
