The Quiet

As much as I love the holidays, having so many people visiting gets a little loud.  In between, we were able to sneak away for the quiet moments.  The boys and I went to Great Falls to meet friends. We had not coordinated well and each started at different areas on the trail. So it was at least a mile of walking for all of us to meet in the middle but it was nice to just spend that time with BB and DD.

Over Thanksgiving, JoJo and JoMa took the boys to buy some art supplies and they couldn't wait to try them out the next morning while we listened to music.  A calm, quiet moment in the house that I really appreciated before more guests came over in the evening.

Before I forget, I wanted to acknowledge that it's been 6 years since I first started writing here and I'm so glad I did.
