Happy New Year + A Winter List
Happy New Year! 2015 was a good one for all of us for the most part. I'm looking forward to 2016 and all the adventures it will bring. You know I don't like to do resolutions but I am setting goals for myself - things like more family trips, less things, more photography.
I don't want to take down all the lights and decorations now that Christmas is over. It always feels sad to "undress" the house. To keep things on track and the festive spirit with us for longer, I'm going to focus on Winter decorations - Winter white, cozy textures, candles and twinkle lights. Oh and a look forward to what we can do to celebrate the coldest time of year:
Brisk walks outdoors.
Visit a new museum.
Visit the beach in the cold weather.
Nature walk to collect items.
Bake cookies (even if Christmas is over).
Bake bread.
Ring in new year.
Make Valentines.
Celebrate Chinese New Year.
Plan a trip.
Throw a party.
Make our own candles.
Chinese New Year craft.
Find a new place for an outing.
Winter swimming.
Find a new recipe to add to our rotation.
Go ice skating.
Hang twinkle lights.
Set up teepee.
See you next year!
