Every Kid in a Park

We've been taking full advantage of the mild December and hitting the outdoors on the weekends. For the second straight weekend, we went to Great Falls on the Maryland side.  I remembered that as part of the Every Kid in a Park, BB can get in to any National Park for free for the entire school year! Thanks to the President for this wonderful initiative.  

You have to pre-register here and print out your pass, and then the park ranger will give your fourth grader a card for the year.  BB was really excited to get his own card and treat us all to a free day at Great Falls.
