Two Birthday Parties

And just like that, two birthday parties down, and we're all set until next year.  We have a something like 9 pounds of birthday cake leftover (and cake from last weekend's family parties as well).  The boys also were gifted with two large heaps of birthday toys.  Tonight I'm going to stash them all away somewhere and bring them out one by one during the course of the year.  BB and DD won't miss them.

Both BB and DD chose the same place to have their birthday parties this year.  DD was first with a Skylanders cake on Saturday, and then we were right back there on Sunday celebrating with BB and his friends.

We're down to the final week of school.  It was nice to see BB and DD with the new friends they've made this year at school.  There were lots of plans made to get together for summer playdates as we said our good byes.
