It's Spring, so I'm told. The weather is milder compared to the snowy day we had on Monday. Another snow day at home. We made good use of a day at home - lots of laundry, cleaning, homework, and cooking was done. We even dug ourselves out and went in search of smoothies and new books.
That made everything sound tidy, neat and efficient around here. And they're not. Work is going to be very consuming from now until Summer, at least, and it has thrown our very carefully balanced lives out of balance. It is not just that things are thrown off, it's that I really dislike it when this happens and this cycle has been ongoing since really the Fall. Further adjustments on my part need to be made as I continue perfecting the juggling of motherhood, wife, lawyer, and self. It's a mantra that I repeat to myself every night before I go to bed.
