Keeping Up With the Weather
While typing this, it's snowing outside and I'm finding a place to hang wet snowpants and jackets. It's hard to keep up with the weather in D.C. lately. On Saturday, the temps reached the mid-60s and we went for a family hike at Potomac Overlook Park. The sun was warm and we saw little signs of Spring everywhere.
Afterwards, we stopped for a late lunch and then found ourselves in our old neighborhood playground. I couldn't help but feel how strangely small the playground felt suddenly. We used to bring the boys to "panda playground" all the time and it felt so expansive then. But on Saturday, it felt as though the entire perimeter of the place had shrunk by a yard or so.
