BB's Day On His Own
Before winter break even started, BB had been asking to goto a camp where he could write and act out skits. I was intrigued by his request but also sad that he was fine to forego the time with us. So I struck a compromise and signed him up for a one-day camp. It's funny the things your kids become interested in, some are things that you loved as a child as well. Others, like drama, are completely foreign to you. But I love to see BB's interests flourishing, even though it means he wants to do things on his own.
While he was at camp, we spent the day with DD viewing Season's Greenings at the U.S. Botanical Gardens, an annual treat. We had a dim sum lunch at Ping Pong and then went to the American Art Museum for a visit and a snack before heading off to see BB's skit at the end of the day.
