Slowly, steadily little signs of Christmas are cropping up around our home. C and the boys cut paper snowflakes, we've got fairy lights here and there, and last night I made use of some miniature bottle brush trees to make snowglobes. Just the right amount of time to devote to a project in the middle of the week. This year I want to keep things simple and focus on celebratory meals and time together as a family. The string of days between Christmas Eve and the New Year are always magical. I want to slow down and savor it all.
