More Beach Love

Here are some more photos of our Bethany trip.  You know it's a good vacation when your spouse looks at you the night we get back after unloading a packed car + a Yakima and says: "there are mini-weeks available at Bethany for this coming weekend; wanna go back?"

And you actually think about it.

Anyway, Hurricane Earl has decided that for us.  We'll be staying put and enjoying the forecasted great weather for the long weekend.  It's an outdoor weekend - maybe a little carousel action on the Mall and hitting all the local playgrounds and parks.  I want to start jump start our nature table, clear out some old toys and clothes, do a few art projects with the boys, organize their fall wardrobes, and do some batch cooking.  Probably too much to finish by Monday night but that's my list.

The first day of school for BB is Wednesday so I need to do some preparations.  DD starts his very first day next Monday.  Looks like summer is officially drawing to a close and we're sad about it.  The Fall is going to mean a new schedule for everyone.  And although I usually look forward to sweaters and jeans weather, this year I'm not.  I want to hold onto airy summer dresses and flip flops just a little longer.
