Our Thanksgiving

This year's Thanksgiving was small and sweet.  The boys promised to help me with a full day of cooking, but it was more like helping me set the table, don their aprons, write up a menu, and run away to play.  We didn't make it out for an outing since I was cooking the feast and didn't feel comfortable leaving the oven on for too long unattended.  We did make it out to take a walk in the neighborhood and run around the playground before dinner.

The turkey was super tasty. The boys chowed down on a drumstick each.  I even tried out a new method of making mashed potatoes in the slow cooker (success!).
