The District (and suburbs) are experiencing a food renaissance that includes some notable modern, casual Asian eateries. Date nights aren't just adult time, but also a chance to indulge my foodie side. Currently, there are 4 respectable ramen bars in the city, two of them a short walk from our house. Needless to say, they have made their way into our regular date night rotation. Also getting some traction (finally) is shabu shabu (or hot pot), all of which is in the outlying suburbs though.
This weekend is our school's Annual Benefit so that will be our date night, but next weekend? We'll be roaming the city for more good food.
