Birthday Celebration

We had a few low-key events to celebrate C's birthday this year. Saturday night was date night and I took C out to a delicious dinner. On Monday the four of us went out to dinner - which is a somewhat rare thing because the boys usually don't eat well out and I like them to eat well. The other night we finally had a chance to reveal the purple spider cake we picked out for C. Check it out against our new spider web tablecloth. (Yes, we've gone overboard with the Halloween decorations). The boys says Happy Birthday to daddy and then DD promptly ate pieces of the spider and much of the purple frosting. BB was happy to cut his play birthday cake but didn't want any of the real thing. All in all it was a great string of low-key birthday celebrations.
