A Whirlwind Weekend

This past weekend was my little brother's wedding.  It was a beautiful affair at the New York Botanical Garden.  The Boys were the the ring bearers in the wedding.  Months ahead of time we ordered their tuxes and shoes and had them try on the outfits piece by piece here and there so they could get used to the idea of wearing a confining black suit on a hot July day.  Those of you who know BB and DD won't be surprised to hear this but they did awesome!!  No crying, no fear, no misbehaving.  They went hand-in-hand down the aisle in a steadied walk soaking in all of the attention.  It was a really proud moment for C and I and a joyous moment for my brother, who looked misty-eyed seeing his nephews toddling down the aisle on his behalf.

Somehow I have no photos of either of them in their tuxes save for the one shot of DD shoving chicken nuggets into his mouth post-photo session, pre-ceremony.  You can see him in his tuxedo shirt there all cute.

Between wedding events, we took the kids to various places for meals, found a few playgrounds and hit the hotel pool.  A busy but wonderful weekend for our family.
