More of the Windward Coast

Feeling more rested by the next day, we set out for more adventure on the Windward Coast of Oahu. We visited the beautiful Kailua Beach and then took a hike to a small swimming cove we heard about later in the afternoon.  No tourists at the cove - just hanging with lots of locals out enjoying the day. On the hike back to the car, we ran into Grace Park (aka "Kono") from Hawaii Five-O.  The funny thing was that C and I had joked before arriving that we were sure to run into one of the cast members of the show. 

In the evening we went to walk around the main shopping strip in Waikiki.  It's full of ABC stores and high end boutiques.  It was the latest we had stayed up thus far and it was nice to explore the area at night where it takes on a very different feeling.
