Boys + Fire

Have you ever known a boy who doesn't love fire?  One of the highlights of their annual camping trip is the big campfire they have nightly.  When we moved, we promised them a fire outside whenever they wanted.  DD decided the day after Halloween was perfect.  They get excited, burn sticks, dance around, and then become entranced and calm.

Somehow October is over and we are already into November.  BB and DD don't have school today so I'm home with them today trying out a beef stew recipe while they jump on the new sofas in the living room.  If I have the time, I want to start making a list of my pre-holiday to dos, including some fun Thanksgiving projects.
