Nature But Indoors At The U.S. Botanical Garden

No holiday season for us is complete without a trip to the Botanical Garden.  We love it there no matter the time of year, but it's extra special at Christmas.  The elaborate trains and Washington landmarks constructed from organic material is not to be missed.  Of course, neither BB nor DD care much about the trains.  They love to explore the Garden's many rooms - the desert, the jungle, medicinal plants.  There is no place better to be on a chilly winter's morning than inside the warm Garden viewing flora and fauna of all kind.
