DD Turns 11!

We celebrated our dear DD this weekend who turned 11.  The baby of the house is turning into a fine young man.  He made things easy for us by acting for a few specific gifts, which we got.  We decorated certain parts of the house we knew he’d see and even taped up the doorway to his bedroom to surprise him.  He loves a good brunch so took him to his favorite diner for a big breakfast (steak!) and celebrated with cupcakes later that day.  His party isn’t for another 2 weeks which we’ve been busily planning.

We love this kid so much.  He has such a great personality and knows himself so well.  He’s been bringing us joy for the last 11 years and I’m so lucky to call him my son.  Love you!
