Jackets, Not Coats

The weekend started with C and I picking the boys up together on Friday.  A new development at school has disrupted one of the boys' school life and we're hoping that the situation is resolved soon. Sadly, the parents have been the last to find out and we still know very little.  It's times like these, these setbacks in life, that remind you to focus on the good.  So that we did.  With rain expected on Saturday, we spent as much time outdoors soaking up the sun as we could on Friday.  There was bike riding, skating lessons, and a swim clinic.  The grown-ups even got some shopping in.  

Each of us have worked hard this Winter in our own way, in our own work.  I feel as though we're all in need of some family time.
