Last Vacation of Summer

The last week of summer (our summer) was spent at Bethany Beach.  We missed it last year and wasn't necessarily planning to return this year.  But it looked like DD (and BB) were on the mend from the health scare we had, so we made last minute reservations.  It was a great weather week - not too hot, but lots of beach and ocean time.

We did Bethany differently than the last time we were there two years ago.  No more bike trailer.  No more hours spent fetching water from the ocean - they can do that on their own.  I spent some glorious, uninterrupted moments in a beach chair under the umbrella enjoying the sight of my boys and the sea.
