Birthday Party Leads to Summer

Another weekend over.  Much of our time was spent celebrating BB's birthday and preparing for a joint birthday party.  Friday night we went out to a nice dinner for...you guessed it...steak.  Dinner and our post-dinner stroll was so fun and the weather was amazing.  On Saturday we ran lots and lots of errands picking up party supplies before the kids showed up and we drove to the birthday party site for laser tag.  Afterwards we had a NERF war and then dinner and cake at our home.  I don't think any of the boys wanted to go home!

On Sunday, the boys went over to my parents' house for lunch while C and I enjoyed brunch outdoors. Now that birthday season is behind us, we are turning towards summer in haste.  The end of school brings a completely different schedule and rhythm to our daily lives.
