Dinosaurs!

We're crazy about dinosaurs (again) in our house.  DD is leading the charge, checking out every single book in the school library on the subject.  We found a few more at the public library and ordered a stack that he wanted for his very own.

Unfortunately, the excellent dinosaur exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History is on a hiatus as the museum undergoes a major renovation.  The new dinosaur hall won't be ready until 2019, unacceptable to my 7 year old.  We talked about possibly driving to Philadelphia to check out what they have.  But on Sunday evening in the rain, I took the boys to the Natural History museum anyway to see the small exhibit they still have up.  It was fun to drive out on a Sunday evening in the rain, something we don't normally do on a Sunday evening.  With daylight savings time, it just seems much more doable.  Here's to more Spring time adventures.
