Today gave us a taste for Spring. We all shed our heavy coats for lighter vests and jackets. In the afternoon, the boys wore no jackets at all - just snow boots. Strange. It has been a long Winter and I'm not even sure it's all over. But here's a final look to this Winter anyway. The snowflakes turned our backyard into a thing of real beauty. I don't miss the cold, but if this is it for snow, I will miss it and look forward to next year.
Planning in earnest is before us now. Final details for Spring and Summer plans need to be finalized ASAP. In DC, Spring is a fleeting thing. A few days of perfection and then the hot blaze of the sun before you've even had a chance to switch out your wardrobe.
