Yep, It's Fall

It's something you just have to do when you have kids - go apple picking in the Fall.  And while you're there, you've got to take a bumpy hayride to the pumpkin patch and bring home about 50 pounds of weirdly shaped pumpkins.  Oh, and apple cider too.  Kidding aside, I love doing this with they kids every year.  They love to pick fresh fruit off the trees.  These days you need to show your kids where food actually comes from (not the grocery store).

The house is full of Fujis and Granny Smiths.  We've got mini white pumpkins for the mantel, and large orange (and green!) ones for outside.   The cider is almost gone.  We have welcomed Fall into our home.
