Spooky Halloween

We know where all the Fall festivals are happening.  Some are extremely popular, and in my mind, somewhat overdone.  So it's always a thrill for me to find something that is off the beaten path, but well done nonetheless.  Over the weekend, we found such a place at our local nursery.  In addition a bevy of Fall mums, there were wonderfully elaborate Halloween decorations, a straw maze, an heirloom pumpkin patch, and a small haunted house.

All of this while we were on our way to a farm for apple picking!  It was a great detour on our journey.  My plan is to return this week to get some decorations and plants for the new season.
