The Storm That Never Was

The supposed huge storm we were getting here in D.C.?  A total bust.  There were fat snowflakes throughout the day but it was mixed with rain and sleet and none of it stuck.  It was nice to have a snow day together though.  After spending all morning at home hoping for some accumulation, we ventured outside after lunch to the fountain at the Circle and then for doughnuts and books.  We were pelted with cold rain; no fluffy snowflakes in sight.  The boys didn't seem to care though.  They make their fun no matter the situation.

So really, this is it.  We are done with you old man Winter.  I'm donating a few of my coats next week.
