Weekend in NYC

I was in NY this weekend - my first trip away from the kids for pure pleasure....ever.  That's right.  Highlights include a bountiful trip to Muji, tasty ramen and sushi, leisurely breakfasts and brunches and a trip to the Brooklyn Flea and the Noguchi museum.  Another fun moment was a chance discovery of a cafe near the Noguchi museum.  A grapefruit juice, orange juice and slice of cake was shared in a cafe that had large garage windows that were rolled up.  We were sitting inside/outside enjoying the weather but shielded from the hot sun.  Fabulous.  The weather in general was fabulous, the first of its kind in a long time.

I missed the boys terribly while away.  C took them to ride the miniature train and carousel and to blow bubbles at the playground.  My understanding is lots of fun was had by all.  Today is Monday and it's back to work.  It's raining and dreary outside.  Until next time!
