Gazing at Warm Weather Photos - A Lookback

It's sleeting outside.  School announced an early closure so I returned home from the office to pick up the kids.  Desiring warmth and sunshine I started looking through our summer photos and realized that I never posted about our annual beach trip this year.  If, like me, you live in a part of the country or world that is experiencing a frigid winter, enjoy these warm, golden-hued photos of our summertime.
We all look forward to this relaxing getaway every year - no plane schedules and cabs to deal with. This year Father's Day fell on the first Sunday that we were there.  I made reservations for a Father's Day jazz brunch, and we had a seriously fun time celebrating C!

Every other day started off with beach time, then lunch, then pool, shopping, relaxing, reading, exploring, maybe more beach time, then dinner and dessert, and a final stroll downtown before a late bedtime.
For the first time, we drove to nearby Lewes, which has a very quaint downtown.  The beach is nice and calm for days when the boys just wanted to float around instead of dealing with a strong surf.  We had an amazing brunch and vowed to come back in the future.
