New and New to Us at DisneyWorld

Of the DisneyWorld parks, entering the Magic Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom makes your jaw drop.  Although we'd been there before, we were two steps into the Animal Kingdom before I was already taking pictures.  The vegetation and details can't be beat, and the showstopper is the Tree of Life. With the addition of Pandora - World of Avatar, the beauty of Animal Kingdom is at its peak.  After a full day, the boys wanted to go back to the resort and enjoy the pool before dinner.  We did the same thing the day before, and this became our new routine for the entire trip.
In the evening, we returned to Epcot to check out the Food & Wine Festival and to explore the side of the park we'd never really seen - the World Showcase featuring 11 countries.  On our last trip we saw a bit of Mexico and China but missed everything else.  There is a lot to see at the World Showcase and with the addition of the food festival and special show in the evening, the park was like one huge international night market. Even though we had dinner at our hotel, all of the food stalls were beckoning.  The boys ended up eating filet mignons from the Canadian food stall (BB had 3 and DD had 1, before the night was over), I had a chocolate crepe, and we all had ice cream in France.  We also ventured over to Japan for the first time and realized there is a very large Mitsukoshi there where we spent a lot of time looking for trinkets and snacks.  We did a little bit of Christmas shopping at some of the shops before heading back.
