The Lakehouse, Part 3

Our lakehouse backs up to a very large clear lake that is used for the town's drinking water.  You can walk down behind the house to the swimming platform, or another half mile down the street is beach access.  We decided to catch the evening's sunset from the shores of the lake, something pretty easy to do because the sun didn't set until around 9.

It was magical the way the light changed.  The photos can't do it justice.  We played on the beach and climbed rocks and dipped little toes into the cold water until dark.  It was one of those evenings with the four of us together that I will never forget.
