First Day of School

Did you know we have a kindergartener and second-grader in the house?  I kind of didn't either.  They've been at their previous Montessori school for so long that I've lost track of what year they're in under the standard school system.  When I realized what a fuss most parents make out of a kindergartener going to school for the first time, I started to feel guilty about my lack of fanfare.  No signs, no celebrations.  We walked them to the bus stop this morning, and followed them to school.  That's C on his motorcycle behind the bus.

DD shed just a few nervous tears when I said goodbye and then off he went.  BB hardly had any first day jitters at all.  We couldn't be more proud of our young students.
