Wishing We Lived Near the Shore

DC is reasonably close to the ocean - a 3 hour drive with no traffic.  But I do often wish that we lived closer to the beach, close enough that we could day trip with ease.  I do take the boys to a local beach (really the bay) for day trips, but there's nothing quite like the roar of the ocean.  Since I don't foresee a move towards the coast any time soon, I'm hoping that as BB and DD get older, quick trips to Bethany will be easier and easier to do.
