The Plague Doctor + The Man of Mystery
Another Halloween has come and gone. By all accounts it was a great one, although out of the norm for us. For the first time, the kids made plans with their own sets of friends to go trick-or-treating. In all the years past, we have walked with them on Halloween night and they have had a great time with each other. But I guess times change. After dropping each of them off to friends' houses and parties, C and I were left home alone waiting for neighborhood trick-or-treaters.
I wanted to write about it here as an example of another transition in our lives. I'm not sad about this really, except to say that on the larger scale, it's one more change in our family traditions. Nothing to feel melancholy about but noteworthy.
