I Always Appreciate a Long Weekend

I love that Memorial Day is always right between the boys' birthdays.  It gives us a long weekend to do last minute preparations and relax between celebrations.  The weekend started on Friday.  C and I grabbed a late lunch together before finishing up work and shutting down the offices. 

The boys went swimming, we cleaned the screened porch and furniture, and did some shopping for their upcoming events.  It rained part of the weekend so we made a trip out of going down to Georgetown to the Amazon store as BB and DD were in need of new books. 

We also firmed up reservations and plans for their birthdays.  On my list for this week - order cakes; finalize guest lists and logistics; wrap presents; buy party favors; and prepare decorations.
