Happy 10th Birthday to Our Baby!

Little DD, the baby of the family, turned the big 10 on Saturday!  He's been quite excited anticipating this birthday.  And although his big party isn't until a few weeks, we celebrated his first decade in style this weekend.  

Our new-ish family tradition is celebrate birthdays with a nice steakhouse dinner.  This time we headed to Morton's.  BB and DD like to dress up every chance they get.  After a fun time dining on seafood and steaks, we came back home to celebrate with Gong Gong and PoPo and open presents.  

DD was undecided about cake flavors this year, so Georgetown Cupcake was the best answer - chocolate, vanilla, double chocolate, coconut, and red velvet - everything he wanted to try.  He already had a special birthday dessert at Morton's...but so what?

At the end of the evening, DD said this was one of his favorite birthdays!  He did wonder what gifts he received in years past so for posterity's sake, here is a list: iPad(!), wireless gaming headset, bowtie, origami kit, and $$ for Fortnite game purchase.  He also got red envelopes and gold coins from Gong Gong and PoPo.
