Summer Road Trip 2017: Ann Arbor, Michigan

We returned Sunday night after our last vacation of the summer.  We embarked on the biggest road trip we've ever taken 9 days earlier.  Our first stop was Ann Arbor, Michigan to visit C's alma mater and give BB and DD an idea of what college life could be like.  We walked all around campus, had a nice dinner, loaded up on Michigan gear, brunched and shopped.  It looks like downtown Ann Arbor is in the midst of an update.  There are lots of great shops, cafes and restaurants downtown and in nearby Kerrytown.  

It was fun to be back on a college campus again, and more so to imagine C has a young college student crossing campus to attend classes and study in the various buildings.  Although classes hadn't yet started, the weather hinted at fall and it brought with it that nostalgic feeling of college.
