Isamu Noguchi Exhibit and Downtown Holiday Market
We spent all of Thanksgiving Day indoors - prepping, cooking, and cleaning. By the time Friday morning rolled around, we were ready to see something, do something. We headed downtown to the outdoor holiday market. It's always worth at least one stroll to hunt for those unique gifts.
Right next to the market is the American Art Museum, on my list for a visit to see the Isamu Noguchi Archaic/Modern exhibit. Years ago, my brother and I went to the Noguchi Museum in New York; that is a museum I can highly recommend. Looking at Noguchi's work gives you instant calm. Everything is the perfect blending of stone, metal, wood, and sometimes water.
After spending our morning looking at art and taking in some of the beautiful plants in the Kogod Courtyard, we headed over to Gong Gong and Po Po's house for a steamed crab lunch. Thanksgiving No. 2!
