A New Page in the Calendar

How was your Halloween?  Everything was great on our end until the end of the night when BB fell at a friend's house and injured himself badly.  He is on the mend and hopefully won't end up with any scarring, oh but what a trauma it was.  No swim goggles so no swim practice again.  Instead we went out for late night run to the new Uniqlo in the DC area.  We found some great things and then got ice cream before heading home.

I'm welcoming November with open arms.  So many wonderful fall days to enjoy plus it looks like we'll be getting perfect weather for a trip next week.  The month ends with my favorite holiday Thanksgiving and then rolls right into Christmas.

The house is in complete disarray right now.  Halloween costumes, candy, and decorations are strewn all over.  I snapped the photo above on a day when there was a moment of calm and order in the house.  I want to get back there again.
