DD's Birthday Party: Gaming + Mayhem

 
We celebrated DD's 8th birthday on Sunday afternoon.  Like BB last year, DD wanted the big game truck to come to our house and host 20 of his closest friends.  As far as entertainment goes, the game truck is one of the easiest hands-off parties one can host for little friends.  The boys got to play video games for two hours in a tricked out truck with leather seats.

The original plan was to set up the patio for dinner and cake but once again, the rain got itself involved.  I rushed to make some last minute decorations for the house before the bunch descended on us screaming for food and drink.  I felt like a Duggar.

After we said goodbye to last the guest, DD opened all his presents and was generally on a post-party high.  Success!
