Another Week Begins...and Possible Snow
In the blink of an eye, the weekend is over and the start of a new week is upon us. We coordinate schedules this week to take account of work meetings, volunteering at school, and car maintenance. We start the week in a deficit because Sunday night we watched POV: American Promise and The Walking Dead, with some Winter Olympics thrown in.
At our new school, homework is a part of our daily lives. DD is reading out loud while BB is reading silently so we've recently started to do homework in separate rooms. I love this photo of BB reading The Indian in the Cupboard in my favorite chair. We still don't have a set place for homework so we're using different spaces for different things. Just as we're getting into the rhythm of things this week, the forecasted snow forces a change in schedule. BB and DD will be thrilled with inches and inches of powdery snow. And I hope they get a snow day or two out of this because once you grow up, you know there is no such thing as a snow day.
