Budding

How was your weekend?  Ours was soaked.  It never stopped raining and on Sunday, it snowed - again. This has to be the last time.  Even this snow-loving family has called it quits on snow for the season.  So even though there was no outdoor time this weekend, we did get a lot of shopping done.  We are creating a pantry right now so a trip to IKEA for ideas and supplies was in order.  Lucky for me, the boys love IKEA - they love the toy section, the lifestyle vignettes, the open warehouse space, and the treats in the food market.

I also found some time to have breakfast and a little furniture browsing  in our old neighborhood with a friend. It was fun planning furniture and design choices for her house, while keeping an eye out for things that might work for mine.  And even though it did snow on Sunday, I think we've all got our hearts set on Spring and Spring break.
