Summer...Don't Go

Today was the last day of camp.  Where did summer go?  Another week and school starts for the kids.  C and I finally bought their school supplies the other night.  Even though the official end of summer isn't for weeks, it's pretty much at it's end for us.  Oh, there have been so many things to love about this summer - so many stone fruits and berries, very mild weather, travel, enjoying our house, no homework, leisurely schedules on the weekend.  We did have two bouts of illness - both a virus and this last bacteria, but I'm putting that behind me.

When you have summer weather like we've been having, it really is hard to let it go.  I've probably suffered two mosquito bites this entire season.  We hope to make this final week count.
